For all of you who read and loved the original Frank Herbert's Dune novels...
As you probably know, in last few years Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson had written prequel (and sequel) books to the original story using Frank Herbert's notes.

I bought the first of the two sequel novels: "Hunters of Dune", to see if Brian can match his father's writing skills. And, oh boy, he can! 'Hunters' was a very good read and I can't wait for the last book of the Dune saga: "Sandworms of Dune".

I also bought the "Legends of Dune" trilogy: "The Butlerian Jihad", "The Machine Crusade", "The Battle of Corrin". The story of these books is set 10,000 years before the events in the Dune novel. After reading the first two books I honestly can say it's a must read for all Dune fans. Read and find out the history behind the Butlerian Jihad and inventions like personal shields or space-folding ships.
